What prints are available to purchase?

We partner with a photography print lab for all of our photography prints. There are a variety of options such as canvas, metal, acrylic, and wood mediums--across a wide variety of sizes.

Are the digital downloads high quality?

Yes, all images are delivered in maximum resolution at full quality. Images are delivered immediately upon purchase.

How can I place an order?

Click here to view the galleries and view the individual photos. Select any photo you want to order and add it to your cart. You can choose the high quality digital version or a print project. 

Will the watermark be removed on the digital download or print?

Yes, the image for display in the website galleries is a preview image only. The watermark will be removed and the full quality image will be delivered either digitally or to the printing lab for your print project. 

Where are the proceeds from my purchase going?

Kathy donates half of the profits from her business to various local organizations that provide services for those who are intellectually and developmentally differently abled. She gave over $200 to the SOAR Program at Rowan Cabarrus Community College in 2022 when she graduated. Kathy plans to support Special Olympics and the ARC as she continues to grow her business.

This month, proceeds will go to benefit SOAR.

Who is Kathy Osterhus?

Kathy Osterhus grew up in Rowan County attending Overton Elementary, Knox Middle School, and East Rowan High school. She volunteered at Partners in Learning after graduating from high school before attending the SOAR Program at Rowan Cabarrus Technical College. Since graduating in 2022, Kathy has worked at Mean Mug Coffee Company on North Main Street.

Kathy started her photography business, Special Shots, in 2019 with a $500 grant from a local entrepreneurial group. Kathy’s first show was in March of 2020 at Mean Mug Coffee Company where her photography is still displayed. Kathy’s next show will be at Trinity Oaks Retirement Community in October 2023.
